Just real quick! There's a new link over on the right that'll take you to my flickr page with a few pictures. Not many, but more to come. Gotta go! Ciao!
I'm excited! I was taking a break and checked in-Lucky me. I most enjoyed the beautiful blue sky-which, by the way is what I love best about Nevada! I wonder if your Romanian family were to visit here if they would be disappointed with no castles...lush homes w/beautiful views would be magic for them, or no? Your room looks cozy; a space to your own. Wow, you get to visit castles!
Thanks for the picture of your room! I always try to imagine where you are and now I can. It looks like a great room cheery and warm. Your gazda family looks like fun. Tell them your mom thanks them for treating you so warmly. Love, Mom and Ozzie
hey Erin thanks for the pictures alothough i would beg to differ that you said you are not an artist...from all the pics i looked at you sure seem to have an eye for a great shot peace your cousin leigh
Erin - thinking of you....all is well with me and my family. We are having to endure one last (please say it's so!!) snowfall. Pics your dad sends me of Austin and TJ are great. And your blog is great also. Stay well....Aunt M
honestly...pretty much every castle here claims to be somehow tied to Vlad Tepes...and they all probably are in some small way since he did rule the area for a while. I think Bran Castle is considered Dracula's Castle, but I don't think it was his main diggs, nor where the main action took place in the Historian...but I could be wrong. Either way, the decorator had some taste :)

That castle was sweet - Dracula had good taste in comfy chairs... and blood. Blaaa! Blaaa!
Erin! Great to hear that you are hanging in there. The language training sounds rough. Thanks for letting us live vicariously through you!

Is this the castle from The Historian?! Because honestly, I pictured something so much more craggy and menacing and you know... vampirish.
It is so much fun to read your posts. Good luck with the language work - you're my hero!
